A Royal Sneak Peek: Maserati Previews Levante SUV In Delhi
Maserati recently offered a sneak preview of its first-ever SUV, the Levante in India's capital New Delhi at Royal Fables.
Maserati recently offered a sneak preview of its first-ever SUV, the Levante in India's capital New Delhi. The Levante was previewed by a select and regal audience at the Royal Fables, a heritage platform that promotes regal, royal India in all its glory.
The Levante was exhibited from October 5-7 at DLF Emporio, in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi by Maserati, which is the luxury partner for Season 9 of the Royal Fables. The Italian SUV was revealed in front of a select audience which included Princess Diya Kumari of Jaipur, who was the Chief guest for the Royal Fables event.
Also present at the event were HH Raja Randhir Singh & Princess Ria Singh of Patiala, HH Rani Vinita Singh of Patiala, Nawab Kazim Ali, Kumar Saheb Padmanabh Singh of Gondol, Princess Mriganka Singh of Jammu & Kashmir with Mr Nirvan Singh - scion of the erstwhile Patiala royal family, Yuvraj Vikramaditya Singh of Jammu & Kashmir and Mr Dhananjay Mahadik MP from Kolhapur.
The Maserati Levante for India will be powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that produces 271bhp at 4,000rpm and 600Nm of torque at 2000-2600rpm. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox which sends power to all four wheels.
The Maserati Levante diesel sprints from 0-100kph in 6.9 seconds, and has a top speed of 230kph. The Levante will be launched in India by the end of the year.
