Maserati Levante India Launch Details Revealed
Italian luxury vehicle manufacturer Maserati is all set to launch the Levante SUV in the Indian market.
Italian luxury vehicle manufacturer Maserati is all set to introduce the Levante SUV in the Indian market. The vehicle was also previewed in the country from October 5-7, 2017.
According to the recent reports from the company, the Levante will be launched in the Indian market within next two months, by the end of 2017.
The overall design of the Levante is compact and elegant. The front fascia of the SUV features a rectangular grille with chrome slats playing host to the company's logo. Either side of the grille features slim headlights which give the front end a sleek look.
The side profile of the Levante sports sloping roofline. The rear windshield is raked which gives it a coupe-like appearance. The rear end features LED tail lights, roof spoiler and a pair of twin exhaust pipes.

The India-spec Maserati Levante draws power from a 3-litre turbocharged, V6 diesel engine producing 271bhp and 600Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to an 8-speed automatic gearbox sending power to all the four wheels. The SUV can sprint from 0-100km/h in 6.9 seconds before topping out at 230km/h.
The interior of the Maserati Levante features large touchscreen infotainment system, twin-pod instrument cluster, three-spoke steering wheel. The dashboard and seats get red detailing crafted with leather.

The Levante will be the first SUV from the stable of Maserati, which is known for producing sports cars and super sedans. With the booming SUV segment in the country, the Levante could be a successful product for the company. The Levante will rival the likes of Mercedes-Benz GLS and Audi Q7.
