Jaguar I-Pace Production Version Debut At 2018 Geneva Motor Show
Jaguar I-Pace production version debut at 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
After several spy pics and debut as a concept in the 2016 LA Auto Show, Jaguar's first electric SUV will debut as a production version at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
The Jaguar I-Pace is a significant model for the British marquee as it will rival the likes of the Tesla X. The electric SUV is pegged to have a range of over 300 miles (483km), all possible by the 90kwh lithium-ion battery.
The production version of the I-Pace is expected to retain the concept's design language, though the styling is expected to be toned down, but will carry all the DNA of a Jaguar.

Jaguar claims the I-Pace will have a recharge time of just two hours when charged through a 50kwh DC socket. The I-Pace's stated power output is 395bhp with a peak torque of 700Nm from two electric motors, which means the I-Pace can sprint from 0-100km in 4 seconds.
The sale of the Jaguar I-Pace is expected after its debut at the Geneva Motor Show; however, there is no word if Jaguar will bring the electric SUV to India.

With Lamborghini set to launch the Urus SUV in India, Jaguar should also evaluate in bringing the I-Pace to the country. India has begun its transition to electric mobility with Tata Motors rolling out its first electric vehicle, while Mahindra is the only current mainstream carmaker to retail electric cars in the country.
