IIHS Top Safety Pick+ Award Goes To Five Cars

Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) is an organization from the United States whose function is to set vehicle safety standards and rate them based on various parameters by performing crash tests. Some of the vehicle crash tests conducted by IIHS include moderate overlap front test, frontal offset impact test, small overlap offset test, side impact test, rollover test, rear impact and head restraint tests.

Based on how cars perform in these tests IIHS awards Top Safety Pick and Top Safety Pick+ awards, with the latter being awarded to cars that pass with Good scores in four out of five tests and no less than Acceptable in the fifth. Following are five cars from 2013 that have been added to the list.
