Hyundai Celebrates 1 Million Facebook Fans
Mr. Nalin Kapoor, Sr. GM & Group Head Marketing at Hyundai India said the company had taken note of the fact that the social media plays an important role in engaging with customers and added that Hyundai crossing the one million fans mark on Facebook was an acknowledgement from customers appreciating the brand and products.
Hyundai has now launched a new online campaign called 'A million Fans of Brilliance'. The campaign will provides fans an opportunity to join Hyundai in its celebrations. Hyundai has created a new micro-site which shows all its fans as part of a huge collage that forms Hyundai's logo.
Mr Nalin Kapoor while speaking about this online initiative celebrating 1 million Facebook fans said: "The idea is to demonstrate the important role played by each fan in assisting us in growing our fan base, and that they truly are ‘One in a Million'."
Hyundai has also launched a contest - ‘A Million Fans of Brilliance,' live on their Facebook page in a bid to attract more fans. The fans can participate in several contests and stand a chance to win several exciting prices.
