While cars are regularly reproduced in the form of toys or die cast replica models, not so common is for a real car to be developed based on a toy. This here is a Chevy Camaro convertible that is based on a toy, which in turn is based on the real thing.

Shiny metallic paint, resembling the sheen that is found in toy cars, red line alloys, Hot Wheels front grille, body graphics, Hot Wheels logo on the front grille and decklid and lastly, Hot Wheels Edition sill plates.
The Hot Wheels Edition Camaro convertibles will come in 2LT and 2SS variants. The 2LT comes with a 3.6 liter V6 engine, that generates 323 HP. This variant is available in both manual and automatic transmission, while the latter, six speed automatic even gets an optional dual mode exhaust system.
