Hyundai Unveils 2013 i10 With Minor Updates

Hyundai has revealed in Netherlands what will be the new 2013 i10. The 2013 Hyundai i10 has received some cosmetic changes to the exterior and is expected to be launched soon. The i10 is Hyundai's best selling small car in several countries and all of them are built here in India.

Dutch automobile website Autoweek.nl has revealed the image of the new Hyundai i10. You will notice from the image that there are no revolutionary changes to the car's design. However, some of the notable changes are black window frames, darkened front grille and a dark tint to the headlights.

The 2013 Hyundai i10 is available with two engine options in Europe. The first one being a one litre Kappa engine that delivers 69bhp and the second engine is a 1.2-litre petrol engine capable of generating a peak power of 85bhp. Hyundai has priced the new i10 at 8495 Euros (INR 6.1 lakhs) while the top end i-Drive Cool variant is priced at 9995 Euros (INR 7.2 lakhs)

Hyundai has updated the i10 as the 2013 model to retain the novelty factor in the small car. The A-segment is one of the most competitive car segment and customers prefer to buy whatever car that is new. The 2013 Hyundai i10 can be expected to hit the Indian market later next year as the small car is built only in India.

This will be the last update to the i10 as Hyundai s working on launching an entirely new version of the i10 in 2014. The new Hyundai i10 can be expected to be launched here in India only in 2015. Hyundai is expected to launched the new i10 with a diesel engine too. The diesel i10 might get the one-litre diesel engine that is being used in the i20 sold in the UK.
