TVS XL 100 Comfort

The TVS XL 100 is the entry-level model in the moped range and it is slotted below the Comfort and the Heavy Duty model. The XL 100 is a 100cc moped that is targeted towards the rural markets.

The overall design of the TVS XL 100 is simple and minimalistic and there are no fancy body panels on the moped. The front end features a round headlamp and body coloured mudguard. The moped gets a vertically mounted fuel tank with graphics. The footboard is wide and the side panels get the X 100 branding.

The TVS XL 100 gets a split seat design and large grab rail or a luggage rack at the rear. The exhaust muffler is finished in black colour and the engine head is finished in silver colour. The spoke wheels of the XL 100 render a classic look to the moped.

The TVS XL 100 is powered by a 99.7cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power output of 4.3bhp at 6,000rpm and a peak torque of 6.5Nm at 3,500rpm. The engine is mated to a CVT gearbox.

The TVS XL 100 is designed to deliver impressive performance while carrying luggage. The moped can carry a maximum payload of 130kg. The engine is smooth and reliable and delivers the meat of the torque lower down the rpm.

The TVS xl 100 returns a best-in-class mileage of 67km/l. But under different kind of riding conditions with different payload weight, the moped will deliver an average mileage of 55-60km/l.

The TVS XL 100 come with a host of features such as a wide front platform, removable pillion seat, flat rear loading platform, silencer guard, attractive graphics, kick starter on the right side, centre stand for easy parking, large wheels and heavy-duty shock absorbers.

The TVS XL 100 is equipped with telescopic forks at the front and hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are handled by drum units at both the ends with stainless steel cable. The kerb weight of the moped stands at just 80kg.
