TVS iQube

The TVS iQube perfectly blends modern and retro styling together, bringing to the table a mature yet trendy design and styling. It is available in three different variants and the biggest visual differentiators between the three variants are the attractive colours it is available in. Up front is a sleek and slender LED headlamp unit that also has indicators integrated into it. It also gets LED DRLs up top.When viewed from the side profile, the TVS iQube looks like a perfectly conventional scooter. The alloy wheels it rides on, are super stylish and the plastic swingarm covers complete the design. At the rear is a thick grab rail and an LED tail lamp with integrated indicators.

The TVS iQube and iQube S share the battery pack and motor while the iQube ST features an enhanced powertrain for more performance. The entry-level models are powered by a 3.04kWh battery pack that sends juice to an electric motor rated for 3kW of continuous power and a peak power output of 4.4kW. The iQube and iQube S can accelerate from 0-40km/h in just 4.2 seconds and onto a top speed of 78km/h.

The TVS iQube ST features a larger battery with a usable capacity of 4.56kWh. However, the motor is the same with a peak power output of 4.4kW. It now gets a top speed of 82km/h and acceleration is identical to the entry-level variants.

This is where the larger battery pack in the iQube ST has made a big difference. This allows the scooter to boast a claimed range of 145 kilometres. The iQube and iQube S on the other hand still have a range of just around 100 kilometres. Charging the battery from 0-80 percent takes just over 4 hours and 30 minutes.

The TVS iQube features a 5-inch TFT screen while the S and ST feature a more feature-packed 7-inch screen with joystick-based navigation that allows users to select exactly what they want on the screen. Users can even upload vehicle documents to the screen, which makes it more accessible when in need. With Bluetooth, the iQube boasts helmet connectivity as well.

In addition, users get access to a music player, night mode, geofencing, ride stats, navigation, remote charge status, etc.

The TVS iQube is one of the more mature choices in the electric scooter market. It is one of the scooters that gives a decent number of features and offers decent performance levels. With the new S and ST variants coming in, the TVS iQube now gets a splash of new colours.
