The Bounce Infinity E1 is all about simplicity and this is very well seen in the design language too. The curvaceous body panel feels like it is a single piece. Up front is an LED headlamp and the rear disc brake also adds to the overall design language.
However, at some points, it does feel like the brand has cut some corners and the scooter could have been designed in a better manner. For instance, the circular headlamp up front seems out of place. A more contemporary headlamp design would have certainly added more flair to the electric scooter. The scooter is available with customisable skins which act like wraps and this makes it stand out in a crowd as it is a first-in-segment feature.
The Bounce Infinity E1 is powered by a 1.9kWh battery pack that sends electricity to the hub-mounted motor that produces a power output of 1.5kW. Bounce claims the scooter can touch a top speed of around 65km/h. There are three ride modes on offer — Power, Eco & Drag.
This is where the Bounce Infinity E1 is unique. The brandhas mentioned on multiple occations that the Infinity E1 has infinite range. This is because of the unique battery swapping model. The brand has set up multipl battery swapping stations across the country and users can just ride to one of them, swap the used battery for a full-charged one and ride on again. It is the only scooter that can be bought even without a battery as Bounce gives buyers the option to rent batteries. The scooter has a claimed range of 85 kilometres on a fully charged battery. The battery pack can be charged completely in under five hours, when plugged to a 5A wall socket.
The Bounce Infinity E1 comes with a long list of features. It is the most feature-packed scooter at the price bracket in which it is sold. The scooter can be paired to your smartphone via the companion app.
When parked, the scooter can sense unusual movements or vibrations and then lock the rear wheel’s brake. This is possible because of the electrically-assisted brakes on the scooter. The instrumentation is basic, with an LCD screen displaying lots of information.
The Bounce Infinity E1 is not a premium electric scooter. However, some of the features it offers are premium and this is what sets it apart at the price point. However, the scooter could have been better in terms of the design and performance.
