Yamaha Tracer 900 & 900GT revealed at EICMA 2017. Yamaha has extended its sport-touring range with the introduction of a Tracer 900 GT, while also updating its Tracer 900.
Both the motorcycles feature Yamaha's 847cc CP3 engine, which boasts robust and linear torque to give a versatile and pleasant ride. The enhancement of power comes with the addition of a more extended aluminium swingarm, while revised rear shock settings further improve the bike's touring performance.
The 2018 Yamaha Tracer 900 gets a manually adjustable large windscreen, offering better weather protection compared to the previous model. The Japanese manufacturer as revised passenger footrests and the newly designed grab bars ensure improved pillion comfort.

Yamaha has updated the design with subtle changes to the body panels and covers to improve the appearance and quality of the updated model. The changes include a new air intake area on the front cowl and redesigned fuel tank side panels and side wings.
Yamaha has redesigned the seat, and the handlebars are narrower to offer more natural rider position, and the latter will make it easier to move through traffic.
The Yamaha Tracer 900 GT is built on the established 900 chassis to offer the ultimate in touring comfort and capability. Along with all the 2018 upgrades, there is a full-colour TFT display, which reveals information including gear indicator, ambient temperature, coolant temperature, current riding mode, fuel gauge and fuel consumption.
The Tracer 900 GT gets the similar cruise control system as the MT-10, which is easily accessible from the left handlebar and can control the riding speed in 4th, 5th and 6th gear when riding between 50 kph to 180 kph.
With fully adjustable front forks and a preload adjustable mono-shock, the bike can be set up to suit a variety of different loads and conditions. The Yamaha Tracer 900 will be available in Nimbus Grey, and Tech Black from March 2018 and the Tracer 900GT will follow three months later in Midnight Black, Nimbus Grey, and Phantom Blue.
