The new Tata H7X will feature Tata Motors' Impact 2.0 design philosophy similar to the H5X. The Tata H5X features a sloping roof towards the C-pillar, whereas the H7X has a boxy roof in order to accommodate the third-row seats. Apart from that, all the design elements remain the same.

The Tata H5X will utilise the same engine but the five-seater variant of the SUV might get slightly lower power output. On the design front, both the Tata H5X and the H7X looks similar, but there are subtle changes which distinguish the two variants.
