It is March 25th, which means the Yamaha Revstation countdown comes to an end and with that the Japanese company has unveiled their new product. Unlike our expectation, Yamaha has only taken the veils off of one new product - the Tricity three wheeled scooter - at the 2014 Bangkok International Motor Show.

The other product, which is believed to be the YZF-R25 or simply the R25, the 250cc sports bike, is now shown as "under development" in the Revstation website.

So, for now, lets talk about the Tricity. This a three wheeled scooter that takes corners by leaning. First showcased as a concept scooter at last year's EICMA show, the Tricity features Yamaha's LMW (Leaning Multi Wheel) technology.

The two front wheels are held on by a pair of hydraulic suspension each. The two sides are again connected with each other via a "parallelogram link" across the bike's headstock section. This allows the front section of the Tricity to lean.

Yamaha claims the Tricity is both lighter and slimmer than its competition, which is chiefly Piaggio MP3. The Tricity is about 50 kilos lighter than the MP3 and leaner, which also makes it more fuel efficient.

Yamaha Tricity will initially go on sale in Thailand, followed by Europe and Japan.
