Yamaha Launches 2014 Fazer Version 2.0 With Fuel Injection
Japanese automobile giant Yamaha has been in India since a long time ago. However, it is their recent products which, have brought them in the limelight once again. They had recently launched the refreshed version of its naked bike called FZ for India.
Yamaha India also offers a semi faired machine called the Fazer. The Japanese automobile giant has decided to give its motorcycle a much needed facelift. On 17th September, 2014 they have launched their Fazer Version 2.0 model.
Yamaha engineers have provided its new Fazer with the same 149cc air-cooled engine, however, it now sports fuel injection system. Other than that it gets several minor design and cosmetic changes.
Roy Kurian, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd, expressed, "We realize the ever changing requirements and preferences for our Indian motorcycle users. A new segment of young people in cities not only use motorcycle for commuting but also as a lifestyle statement."
He further added, "When it comes to the deluxe segment especially, a motorcycle is chosen to reflect attitude, personality and style. Also, touring as a youth culture is evolving in India. With the development of modern highways and increasing popularity of motorcycle tourism, the interest in motorcycles suited for touring is certainly expected to increase."
The 2014 Fazer Version 2.0 will sport Yamaha's new Blue Core Technology, which will improve fuel efficiency, along with improved performance. The motorcycle will also accelerate faster, when compared with its predecessor.
The Japanese manufacturer has also refined its chassis for better handling and stability. Fazer Version 2.0 also gets improved tyres for better road grip. The suspension setting on the 2014 motorcycle has also been revamped. Seats and instrument console have been redesigned in the 2014 update.
Yamaha India will offer its new 2014 Fazer Version 2.0 in three exciting new colours. They will offer colours such as Black Hawk, Red Dawn and White Cloud. The 2014 Fazer by Yamaha will now cost INR 83,850 ex-showroom, Delhi.
