Japanese two-wheeler, Yamaha is focussing on its scooter segment in Indian market. They have now introduced new colours, along with its Blue Core technology in all its scooters.
Yamaha offers the Alpha, Ray and Ray-Z scooters in India. All three scooters share the same engine, however, their design is targeted towards different buyers.
The Blue Core technology will provide riding enjoyment, along with fuel efficiency. Yamaha explain this next-gen engine concept improves combustion, cooling efficiency and also reduces power loss.
2015 Yamaha scooters are also provided with new colours to differentiate the models. Fuel efficiency has been improved from the previous 62 kpl to 66 kpl.
Roy Kurian, Vice President, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd expressed, "We are eying around 10 percent share in the fast growing scooter market in India this year riding on our three scooter offerings."

Yamaha Alpha with Blue Core technology gets a new paint scheme and is priced at INR 49,939 ex-showroom, Delhi.
The Ray with Yamaha's Blue Core technology has not been provided with any new colour and is priced at INR 47,805 ex-showroom, Delhi.
Yamaha Ray-Z scooter with Blue Core technology is offered in an attractive paint scheme, Cyan Splash. It is priced at INR 48,936 ex-showroom, Delhi.
Yamaha Blue Core engines have a few changes compared to its existing engines. They will provide nickel spark plug that improves combustion, muffler setting has been changed, along with news BS carburettor and TPS setting.
