Yamaha Celebrates Zippy’s Birthday At Nirmal Chhaya With Kids & Women
Japanese two-wheeler giant Yamaha has a strong presence in India. They were struggling initially in connecting with their customers and fans. Yamaha India thus, launched its first safety campaign for the country in the form of ‘Zippy'.
Yamaha India has now decided to mark the first anniversary of their children safety program. They will be celebrating it as the first birthday of Zippy their safety mascot. The manufacturer has organised a fun filled day for women and children at Nirmal Chhaya.
Yamaha Children Safety Program will also be organising an event for girls under 18 years of age. The Japanese manufacturer will provide rider training sessions for women. Women over the age of 18 can also take part in the activity.
Roy Kurian, Vice President, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd commented, "Since, we were to celebrate the first birthday of our brand mascot, Zippy; we concluded on celebrating it with the very strong girls of Nirmal Chhaya and give them a reason to smile and have a good time."
He further added, "We also organized the YCSP activity for the kids to educate them about crucial road safety measures and basic riding training for women above 18 years of age. This is all in view of the fact that Zippy is all about connecting with children and educating them about the nuances of safe riding and good traffic observance."
In its maiden year Yamaha Children Safety Program had organised activities in over 706 schools across India. The Japanese manufacturer hosted events for children and women in 121 cities of India. In excess of 2,42,000 children took part in activities that were organised by Yamaha India.
