TVS Racing To Debut At Dakar 2015
TVS Racing is all set to make a grand entry into Dakar 2015. The company will collaborate with the French motorcycle manufacturer, Sherco for the Dakar Rally 2015. This new team will be called "Sherco TVS Rally Factory Team".

Pangaonkar,
the
head
of
TVS
Racing
said
that
a
combined
effort
of
the
TVS
Racing
engineers
and
Sherco
team
technicians
will
be
there
for
the
2015
Dakar
event.
The team will participate with two motorcycles, called the RTR 450. The motorcycles will be powered by a 450cc engine that will be lightweight and reliable to last the gruelling challenge that Dakar has to offer.
These motorcycles and its engines have been designed, developed and manufactured by Sherco, along with TVS Racing.
TVS Racing and Sherco will focus on key elements on the motorcycles like good suspension, protection for the radiator, headlights, GPS and the fuel tank.
They will also be equipped with specially made puncture proof tyres and tubes. The testing of these bikes will be done in France, ahead of the Dakar 2015.
Fabien Planet and Alain Dulcos from France will be astride these motorcycles for the race. The riders have good experience riding Enduro motorcycle races and Dakar experience as well.
