TVS Motors Record 16 Percent Growth During April 2016

TVS Motors has recorded a phenomenal growth of 16 percent during April 2016. Both the scooters and motorcycles have contributed together in achieving the overall sales. Sale of motorcycles grew by 20.7 percent while the sale of scooters increased to 28.3 percent.

Total sales for TVS Motors during April 2015 were 1,95,937 models. During April 2016, the Chennai-based manufacturer witnessed a huge demand, which pushed sales to 2,27,096 models. Overall the two-wheeler witnessed a healthy growth of 16 percent in tough conditions.

During April 2015, TVS Motors managed to sell 9,896 units of three-wheelers. The Chennai-based manufacturer witnessed a growth to 9,896 units during April 2016.

Exports on the other hand for TVS Motors have decreased by 13 percent. In April 2016, exports were down to 28,354 units. The total exports for TVS Motors were 32,426 units. Overall TVS Motors has had a decent outing in terms of sales during April 2016.
