TVS-BMW Motorcycle Will Be A 300cc Street Bike: Rumour

Ever since India's TVS motors and Europe's BMW Motorrad joined hands last year we have been eagerly awaiting news about the resulting products. The wait is now over as the first rumor has surfaced about the first bike from this partnership, giving us something to look forward to.

According to sources of Autocar, the very first motorcycle coming from the duo will be a street motorcycle that will wear the TVS badge. The sources say that the motorcycle will be powered by a 300cc, single cylinder, four stroke engine.

While it is still not certain when the motorcycle will come to the market, it is most likely going to be towards the end of 2015 or in 2016.

The report also says that TVS and BMW initially had planned on developing a small displacement semi off-roader like the Hero Impulse, but decided against it, instead taking the safer path.

It will definitely be exciting to see the outcome of this partnership which is a direct rival of the other successful Indo-European two wheeler team of Bajaj and KTM, which is a direct rival of BMW & TVS, both in Europe and India.
