Triumph India Launches Tiger XRx & XCx Adventure Motorcycles
Triumph Motorcycles has today launched two new adventure models in India. The British based manufacturer has introduced XRx and XCx models for Indian markets. These two motorcycles were debuted last year at the 2014 EICMA motor show.
Triumph Tiger XRx and XCx Pricing:
- Triumph Tiger XRx adventure motorcycle is priced at INR 11,60,000 ex-showroom, Delhi.
- Triumph Tiger XCx adventure motorcycle is priced at INR 12,70,000 ex-showroom, Delhi.
- The base model of adventure motorcycles, Tiger 800 pricing has been revised to INR 10,50,000 ex-showroom, Delhi.
Triumph Tiger XRx and XCx Engine Specifications:
Triumph Motorcycles has provided both the Tiger XRx and XCx adventure bikes with a similar engine. They will be powered by an in-line three-cylinder 800cc liquid-cooled engine. This machine produces 93.66 horsepower and 79 Nm of peak torque.
Tiger XCx and XRx engines will be paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Triumph Motorcycle claim that their motorcycle will provide fuel efficiency figures of 25 kpl in city riding conditions. Both motorcycles will get huge fuel tanks of 19 litre capacity.
Triumph Tiger XCx Details:
Tiger XCx is the more rugged between the two motorcycles. Triumph Motorcycles has provided upside down front forks and a mono shock rear suspension from WP. It also gets dual disc brakes in front with a single disc providing braking at the rear.
The XCx by Triumph also gets spoke wheels. They will also be providing ABS that can be turned off, along with adjustment options for seating as well as the position of the handlebar.
Triumph Tiger XRx Details:
Triumph Tiger XRx gets all features similar to its twin the XCx. The manufacturer, however, has omitted adjustable suspension system. It also features alloy wheels instead of the rugged spoke wheel option. Seat height has been reduced to improve the road use of this motorcycle.
