Tiger Woods Reveals The New Xtreme Sport By Hero MotoCorp
India's largest seller and manufacturer of two wheelers, Hero MotoCorp is on a global expansion spree. They had earlier announced their new global ambassador for their products. The manufacturer will be utilising golfing legend Tiger Woods to promote their products.
Hero MotoCorp will be teaming up with Woods Foundation as a sponsor for Hero World Challenge. It will be held at Isleworth Golf and Country Club. The competition has commenced on 3rd of December and ended on 7th of December, 2014.
Hero MotoCorp revealed to the audience present their Xtreme Sport motorcycle with their global ambassador. The motorcycle was showcased in the presence of Zach Johnson, defending champion. Also present where the top 18 players of the PGA Tour, who stood a chance to win USD 3.5 million in prize money.
Present at the event was Pawan Munjal, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Hero MotoCorp. He presented the motorcycle to the audience with Tiger Woods and explained a few of the features to Golfer.
Hero MotoCorp is said to power their Xtreme Sport with a 149.2 cc single cylinder, air cooled engine. It will produce maximum power of 15.2 bhp, along with 12.8 Nm of peak torque. The engine will be paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The motorcycle will be offered with an optional rear disc brake with a front disc brake as standard equipment.
The Indian manufacturer had showcased its naked street bike back in January. They will be launching this new motorcycle in India soon, pricing has not been revealed. We believe Hero MotoCorp will launch the motorcycle with a price tag ranging between INR 78,000 to INR 80,000 ex-showroom.
