Suzuki GIXXER Launched In Bangalore: Price, Specs, Features
Suzuki, one of the world's largest two wheeler makers has launched its latest addition to the 150cc segment, the Suzuki GIXXER.
Priced at INR 74,552 (Ex-showroom, Bangalore), the GIXXER is positioned very competitively with other bikes in this segment.
The bike is powered by a 155cc, air cooled single cylinder engine. The motor produces 14.6 bhp and a peak torque of 14 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The GIXXER is available in 5 colour variants- Metallic Oort Grey, Candy Antares Red, Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Triton Blue and Pearl Mirage White.
The new motorcycle features a twin exhaust to add to the sporty look and has a fully digital meter console.
Suzuki claims that their newest motorcycle will have a fuel economy of 63.2 kpl, which is a very good number keeping in mind the bike falls in the 150cc category.
The GIXXER gets its name from its bigger sibling, the GSX-R, and Suzuki say that the GIXXER is crafted by the same engineers who designed the GSX-R. The same team is said to have built the engine as well.
The new GIXXER seems to priced right and has the looks to stand apart in the 150cc segment. The bike could end up being a bestseller for Suzuki.
