For any manufacturer of motorcycles or cars they have to impress their buyers. Now Royal Enfield has opted to give its motorcycle owners confidence of ownership. They will offer warranty of either two years or 20,000 kilometres, which ever occurs first.
This extended warranty is valid to owners who have purchased Royal Enfield two-wheelers post 1st January, 2015. Usually manufacturers try to sell extended warranties to customers for an additional sum. The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer has decided to provide it to improve relation between seller and buyer.
Royal Enfield previously provided only a years worth of warranty on their motorcycles. They never had an offer in which owners could buy additional warranty for their satisfaction. The manufacturer will now offer two year or 20,000 kilometre warranty as standard.
The Indian manufacturers bikes are prone to various issues. Now they want to build the confidence of buyers back. The only way forward is to provide warranty for extended periods. This way potential buyers can put faith in the product they hope to buy from Royal Enfield.
