The Continental GT is one of the most popular and modern motorcycles from Royal Enfield. During its launch it was available in a single colour and a special colour was offered to international markets. Now the two-wheeler manufacturer will be offering three colours to Indian buyers Red, Yellow and Black.
Royal Enfield has witnessed tremendous success with their cafe racer model. The motorcycle has been a popular choice among international markets. Continental GT has put the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer on the international radar and has filled the space between 250cc and 750cc motorcycles.
The Indian manufacturer provides its Continental GT with a single cylinder 535cc air-cooled engine. This engine has been tuned to produce 29.1 bhp and 44 Nm of peak torque output. The engine has been mated to a 5-speed gearbox and it gets an electric and kick starter system.
Royal Enfield has built this motorcycle from the ground up. The chassis has been specifically developed for Continental GT and it is twin down tube cradle frame. It sports Pirelli Sport Demon tyres, which provide optimal grip to this Cafe Racer. Braking force is provided by Brembo floating disc with steel braided hoses.
The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer will not be charging extra for its black Continental GT. Royal Enfield's Cafe Racer has been priced at INR 1,93,000 ex-showroom, Mumbai. They also offer a host of optional accessories like seat cowl, bar end mirrors, exhausts and many more.
