TVS Wego Facelift Launched Without Price Increase

The 2014 model year TVS Wego, which was showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo in February, has been launched, reports Overdrive.

The improved Wego from the Expo came with quite a few significant changes that make the scooter look fresh and plenty more attractive.

To start with, the new Wego has the option of dual tone colours, which seems to be latest fad. All black alloy wheels and exposed mechanical parts provide a sporty and youthful touch. Lastly, the a redesigned seat, digital speedometer and the exhaust outlet from the Jupiter also make it to the new Wego.

The changes extend further than the styling department to the 8 horsepower, 8 Nm torque, 110cc engine, which has received the improvements from the Jupiter as well. These improvements make the new Wego more efficient, reliable and easier to start with a cold engine.

The 2014 TVS Wego delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 62 kpl.

Despite the price increase, the new Wego with drum brakes is available for Rs 48,857, while the optional disc brake variant will come for Rs 49,580, before taxes, in Mumbai.
