Shell Lubricants India Appoints Mansi Madan Tripathy As New MD
Shell Lubricants India appoints Mansi Madan Tripathy as the new Managing Director. Earlier, Mansi carried out the role of a Marketing Officer, and now, will succeed Nitin Prasad, who will now take on the role of Chairman of Shell Companies, India effective August 1st, 2016.
On the experience front, Mansi brings in 20-years of marketing, sales, insights, and strategy. Also, she was responsible for the architect of digital marketing and social media footprints for Shell Lubricants India.
Before Shell Lubricants, for 17 years she worked with Procter and Gamble across various roles and brands and held positions such as Director of Global Male Grooming, P&G and Asia Pacific Head for Consumer and Market Knowledge.
Concerning education, Mansi holds a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication from National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra and an MBA in Marketing from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research.
In her new role, she will carry out all the business activities for the lubricants business in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal. The primary focus, however, will be to strengthen the company's presence in India.
