Mahindra To Launch Gusto In Bangalore On the 7th January
Mahindra, one of India's leading automobile manufacturer is all set to launch its latest scooter, the Mahindra Gusto in Bangalore on the 7th of January.
Mahindra Two-Wheelers, being relatively new to the two-wheeler industry, has taken a long time to develop the Gusto.
After intense testing and building the scooter from the ground up by the Mahindra engineers, the company has named the scooter after a gust of wind, Gusto.
The Gusto was earlier launched on 29th of September, in the north and west India for a price of INR 43,000 for the Dx version and INR 47,000 for the Vx version.
The powerhouse of the Mahindra Gusto is a 109.6cc, air cooled, single cylinder engine that produces a peak power of of 8 bhp and 8.5 Nm of max torque. Mahindra claims a fuel economy of 60 km/l from the Gusto.
One of the main feature to be highlighted about the Gusto is the height adjuster. The rider, no matter what his height is, can adjust the Gusto to fit him from the two adjustment choices available on the Gusto.
Apart from height adjustment, the Gusto also has a few other interesting features, which will be available in the base variant like a flip key and ‘find me' option.
The Gusto is offered in a choice of four colours, Black, Burgundy, Red and White.
The Gusto will very much be a worthy contender in the gearless commuter category, where the Honda Activa is a best seller.
