Mahindra Gusto Hx Variant Launched; Price, Specs, Features & More
Mahindra Two Wheelers offers a range of products in India, which include motorcycles and scooters. The Indian manufacturer had launched its Gusto scooter in September, 2014. It was launched in two trim levels, a basic model with less features and the second was packed with features.
The Indian manufacturer is now adding a third trim level that will sit between these two models. The Gusto by Mahindra is their global offering and has been built by Indian engineers and designers.
Mahindra Gusto Pricing:
- Mahindra base model is called the Dx and is priced at INR 44,800 ex-showroom, Delhi
- The new trim option, which is placed in between is called Hx and is priced at INR 46,800 ex-showroom, Delhi
- The top end, feature rich model of Gusto is priced at INR 48,800 ex-showroom, Delhi
Mahindra Gusto Engine Specifications:
The Gusto Hx will be powered by a single cylinder 109.6cc, air-cooled M-TEC engine. It will be capable of producing 8 bhp and 9 Nm of peak torque output. Mahindra engineers have provided a CVT gearbox to their scooter.
Mahindra engineers have provided their Gusto with telescopic air spring suspension for the front, while the rear gets a coil type hydraulic suspension. The manufacturer has also fitted its scooter with 12-inch tubeless tyres and braking force is achieved by a mechanical drum brake.

In terms of design Mahindra Gusto Hx trim option is similar to its siblings. It looks and feels different from its rivals, while maintaining typical scooter styling. The scooter gets angular styling cues that lends a sporty feel to it.
