Kawasaki Ninja H2 India Launch Slated For 1st Week Of April
Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, Kawasaki recently launched its hyperbike the Ninja H2 and H2R. Now they will be officially launching the Ninja H2 in India during the 1st week of April, 2015.
Kawasaki has a huge demand to fulfill for this motorcycle, as it has several bookings. For India only five Ninja H2 would be offered initially and all of them have been sold.
The Japanese manufacturer will accept bookings for their hyper motorcycle, however, no guarantee on delivery date will be provided. So far now there will be only five individuals that will be capable of boasting about their motorcycles.
Kawasaki has priced its Ninja H2 hyper motorcycle for INR 32,80,000 on-road in Pune. The motorcycle is offered in India as a Completely Built Unit(CBU) and no local operation is expected.
Kawasaki engineers have provided an unique engine for its Ninja H2:
- Engine capacity: 998cc
- Engine configuration: In-line four cylinder & Kawasaki supercharger
- Engine cooling: Liquid cooling
- Gearbox: 6-speed
- Horsepower: 200
- Torque: 156 Nm
Japanese compatriots Yamaha is also planning on introducing its 2015 R1 in India by 2015-end. Ducati has also re-entered Indian market and its Panigale 1299 can compete with the likes of Kawasaki Ninja H2.
