Japanese two-wheeler giant Kawasaki has launched several new bikes in India. They have introduced the Z800, Z1000 and Z250 for India. Kawasaki also launched their ER-6n motorcycle. Their hyper bike the H2 was also offered and sold out in a matter of days.
In 2015, the Japanese manufacturer will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of its Ninja ZX-10R motorcycle. They have launched a special Lime Green with Stardust White paint scheme, which will be offered in India as well.
The 30th anniversary edition gets Ohlins-Kawasaki electronic steering damper, Traction Control and Intelligent Anti Lock Braking System. It will also sport 30 badges denoting it as the 30th anniversary edition with a Japanese flag as well on it.
The 30th anniversary edition of Kawasaki sports a similar engine to the regular model. Ninja ZX-10R is powered by an in-line 4-cylinder 998cc liquid cooled engine. This engine is paired to a slick 6-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 197 horsepower, along with 112Nm of peak torque.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R 30th anniversary edition will be available in India as a Completely Built Unit. They currently offer the regular ZX-10R in India at INR 15,70,000 ex-showroom, Pune. The special edition will cost more at INR 15,90,000 ex-showroom, Pune.
Kawasaki plans to bring more limited edition motorcycles to India. They also will be bringing more colour options to their entire range of motorcycles on offer. They also plan to localise their products, thus achieving more competitive pricing in comparison to its competitors.
