Indian Motorcycles Commence Bookings For Scout In India

The luxury market for two wheelers in India is witnessing great growth. Recently Indian Motorcycles came to India with its range of cruiser bikes. The American motorcycle manufacturer came to India thanks to Polaris, who is a major stake holder.

Indian Motorcycle has today announced commencement of bookings for its new Scout motorcycle. The manufacturer had earlier launched its Chief range in India. Now Individuals can opt for the Indian Scout from its new range.

Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director, Polaris India Pvt. Ltd. commented, "The launch of the Indian Scout in the United States has proved to be successful in stirring a new wave of enthusiasm. The launch just added another feather in our effort to revive the history of Indian Motorcycle."

He further added, "The launched model is designed to possess the heritage of the past, blended with modern technology. We are now giving Indian enthusiasts a chance to own a piece of history in a modern package by booking their own Indian Scout."

The Indian Scout sports a 1131 cc liquid cooled, V-twin engine. The cruiser weighs 244 kilograms and has a rigid triangle design with monotube rear shocks. The motorcycle has exceptional performance and provides 100 horsepower along with, 97.7 Nm of peak torque.

The starting price for Indian Motorcycles Scout is INR 11,99,000 ex-showroom, Delhi. Bookings have commenced and Polaris explain deliveries will soon commence for the new motorcycle. The Scout by Indian Motorcycles maintains its rich heritage and mixes it with modern technology.
