Harley Davidson LiveWire: Specifications Of Harley's Electric Bike
Harley Davidson's first electric motorcycle, the LiveWire, has made its official debut and we have our first official details about the motorcycle. It is now confirmed that the LiveWire is not a production model, but a pre-production model that will be used to gauge people's reaction for the next year or so.
In fact, Harley will be conducting "The Project LiveWire Experience", starting with a 30-city tour in the U.S, during which people will be invited to test ride the LiveWire, share their opinion and give suggestions for improvement.
Project LiveWire will give Harley a clear idea about whether or not there there is a market for a primarily city oriented electric motorcycle. Based on customer and expert inputs the LiveWire would either be refined and improved before a production model is launched, likely in 2016, or be scrapped.
"The Project LiveWire Experience" will move to more cities in the US, and also Canada and Europe next year.
