Italian manufacturer of two-wheeler, Ducati will be re-entering Indian market on 18th of March, 2015. They plan to inaugurate showrooms in three major cities of India Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. Their goal is to provide motorcycles and a service centre for their esteemed motorcycle owners.
Now the key to successful re-launch is going to be pricing and it has been leaked prior to the commencement of showroom operations. Ducati will be offering its entire range of motorcycles in India at an attractive price point.
Ducati will be offering its Multistrada, Hypermotard, Hyperstrada, Monster, Scrambler, Panigale and Diavel range of products for Indian market. It is still not clear how many of these motorcycles will be brought to India via the Completely Built Unit(CBU) route. The Italian manufacturer plans to assembly more bike in India as and when possible.
The Scrambler range of motorcycles is expected to be priced from INR 6,38,000 to INR 7,54,000 ex-showroom. Ducati Monster will be priced from INR 6,99, to INR 25,74,000 ex-showroom. Hypermotard motorcycles will start from INR 10,00,000 to INR 19,11,000 ex-showroom.
Ducati Hyperstrada is expected to be priced at INR 11,02,000 ex-showroom. Multistrada will be priced between INR 14,03,000 to INR 20,61,000 ex-showroom. The Diavel range of motorcycles will cost INR 13,83,000 to INR 37,20,000 ex-showroom.
Their race inspired motorcycles are the Panigale fully-faired motorcycles, which will also be offered in India. The 899 Panigale will start from INR 13,02,000 to INR 13,32,000 ex-showroom. Ducati 1299 Panigale will be priced between INR 32,48,000 to INR 40,07,000 ex-showroom. The Panigale R superbike will be their ultimate motorcycle and will have a tag of INR 46,26,000 ex-showroom.
