Bajaj Discover 125 ST Discontinued In India; Exports Continue

Bajaj is rumoured to have stopped selling the Discover 125 ST in India. Sales are expected to continue until stocks last, while production of the product will continue to cater to overseas markets to where it is exported.

The Discover 125 ST is at the very top of the Discover family ladder. Launched in 2012, the 125 ST a premium offering in the budget category as it offered features such as a 200 mm petal disc brake at the front, nitrox monoshock rear suspension (the only motorcycle in this segment), a sporty seating position, along with sporty design elements.

While the Discover 125 ST was launched to cater to a small group of buyers looking for a sporty ride on a tight budget, the group turned out to be too small, resulting in poor sales.

Ultimately, this has resulted in Bajaj deciding to pull it out of the market. Bajaj will, however, continue to sell it outside the country.

Bajaj Discover 125 ST is powered by a 124.6 cc engine that develops 13 horsepower at 9000 rpm and 10.78 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm. The bike gets a 5-speed gearbox and has a top speed of 105 km/h. Price in Delhi is INR 55,168 before taxes.
