You Will Never Believe What Motorcycle This Mental Cafe Racer Is Based On
French customiser Ludovic Lazareth has modified a 1999 Yamaha R1 into a insanely looking cafe racer dubbed as the Caferacer Lazareth – Back to the future.
French customiser Ludovic Lazareth and his crew have modified a Yamaha R1 into an insane looking cafe racer dubbed as "Caferacer Lazareth - Back to the future".
The Caferacer Lazareth is a modified 1999 Yamaha R1. The cafe racer looks insane with the original front telescopic forks being replaced by a custom designed and fabricated single-sided swingarm.
The entire motorcycle is clad with carbon fibre, for safety reasons, the fuel tank encloses an actual aluminium unit underneath. The original R1 frame is retained with slight modifications to the front swingarm mount.
The front and rear of the cafe racer are fitted with a 17-inch wheel borrowed from a Triumph 955, and the suspension is sourced from TFX Suspension. The rear end of the swingarm is slightly chopped, and a floating link gives the rear suspension the necessary movement.
The exhaust on the modified motorcycle is a single pipe, surrounded by LEDs that function as brake and rear lights. All the other parts are moulded out of carbon-fibre. Brembo brakes are installed on both the ends of the cafe racer.
The Caferacer Lazareth is equipped with a set of arrow-straight drag bars and an Acewell digital speedometer for all the necessary information required for the rider. If you want to customise your Yamaha R1, then Lazareth will build this insane machine for a price of 50,000 euro (Approximately Rs 32.53 lakh).
