The upcoming Fazer 250 has been spied testing for the first time ahead of its expected launch later this year.
The spy pics shot by a member of the Yamaha Riders Club - India shows the fully faired touring version of the FZ25 that was launched in India earlier this year and is expected to carry forward the FZ's 249cc engine that cranks out 20.6bhp and 20Nm of torque.
The images reveal what looks to be an almost production-ready version of the with the fairing sporting what appears to be a grey paint job. The new fully-faired bike also features a similar tail section to the FZ25 launched in January.
The new Fazer 250 is also expected to carry forward the FZ's 282mm(front) and 220mm (rear) disc brake setup as well with ABS being consigned to the sin bin as well, like on the FZ25.
The new Fazer 250 is expected to compete with the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200, Honda CBR250R, and the KTM RC 200.
