Vespa Elegante Special Edition Launched In India — Priced At Rs 95,077
Piaggio India has launched the Vespa Elegante Special Edition in the Indian market. The special edition add new features to the 150cc scooter.
Piaggio India has launched the Vespa Elegante Special Edition in the Indian market. The Elegante adds some new features to the standard model for a premium appeal.
The Vespa Elegante Special Edition is priced at Rs 95,077 ex-showroom (Pune). The company states that the Elegante edition adds a touch of Italian craftsmanship on the scooter.
The Special Edition scooter will be offered in two new colour schemes - Beige Unico and Pearl White. The scooter is equipped with a tinted windscreen, Elegante badging and colour coordinated leather seats.
The Vespa Elegante Special Edition also comes with accessories such as body coloured helmet, chrome guard kit and front bumper guard. The scooter gets 12-inch alloy wheels.
The Elegante Special Edition draws power from the existing 150cc single cylinder engine producing 11.4bhp and 11.5Nm of peak torque. The engine is unchanged and is coupled to an automatic gearbox.
CEO and Managing Director, Piaggio Vehicles India, Stefano Pelle said, "The special edition Vespa Elegante symbolises Piaggio's ownership of the premium scooter segment that the group has successfully created in the Indian market."
The Vespa Elegante Special Edition will be available at Vespa and Aprilia dealerships and Motoplex outlets across the country. The scooter is also available online through Paytm.
