2018 Kawasaki KX250F Launched In India At Rs 7.52 Lakh
Indian Kawasaki Motor has launched the 2018 KX250F in India. The updated dirt motorcycle is priced at Rs 7.52 lakh ex-showroom (India).
Kawasaki has launched the 2018 KX250F in India. The updated dirt motorcycle is priced at Rs 7.52 lakh ex-showroom (India).
The 2018 iteration of the KX250F gets a host of changes including an updated engine producing more torque and revamped suspension setup. The chassis remains the same.
Kawasaki claims that the 2018 KX250F can clock improved lap times compared to the 2017 model. The 2018 model gets dearer by Rs 38,000. The Kawasaki KX250F can be used only on race tracks, and the dirt motorcycle cannot be registered or ridden on public roads.
The 2018 KX250F draws power from a 249cc 4-stroke, single cylinder engine. The updated engine gets new throttle body, fuel injector, fuel pump, intake boot and camshaft. The cylinder head is also new, and Kawasaki has also revised the compression ratio.
The exhaust header is new on the 2018 KX250F which gives it a wider power band. Up front, the dirt motorcycle gets Showa 48mm separate function front forks and Uni-Trak suspension at the rear.
The 2018 Kawasaki KX250F is based on the same aluminium perimeter frame. The revised suspension settings deliver great precision when braking, going over bumps and tackling corners.
The 2018 KX250F can be tuned as the revised ECU settings offer three engine tuning maps. With the optional KX FI calibration kit, one can select up to seven separate engine maps. The motorcycle also features KX Launch Control System.
The 2018 Kawasaki KX250F will come to India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). With the GST tax regime, the motorcycle attracts extra 1 percent cess. The motorcycle is targeted towards the motocross riders in the country.
