2017 Honda CB Hornet 160R With BS-IV Engine Launched In India — Prices Start At Rs 81,113

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2017 Honda CB Hornet 160R. The newly launched motorcycle gets BS-IV compliant engine and Auto headlamp on (AHO) feature.
The 2017 Honda CB Hornet 160R is priced at Rs 81,113 for the standard variant and Rs 85,613 for the CBS variant. The special edition variants of standard and CBS models are priced at Rs 82,095 and Rs 86,595. All prices are Ex-showroom Delhi.
The motorcycle is offered with double disc and single disc option. The 2017 CB Hornet 160R is available in four colour schemes - Striking Green, Mars Orange, Athletic Blue Metallic and Sports Red.
The 2017 Honda CB Hornet 160R draws power from a 162.71cc single cylinder, air cooled engine. The engine produces 15.04bhp and 14.76Nm of torque. The motor is coupled to a 5-speed gearbox.
Up front, the motorcycle features 276mm petal disc brake, and rear features drum brake setup. There is an optional rear disc setup measuring 220mm. The 2017 CB Hornet 160R comes with tubeless tyres.
But the surprising fact about the new CB Hornet 160R is the decrease in power output. The kerb weight of the motorcycle stands at 138kg for the standard variant and 140kg for the CBS variant. The motorcycle is equipped with a 12-litre fuel tank.
