Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has launched the limited edition of its sports cruiser, the Diavel Diesel in India. Well, Diesel refers to apparel brand and not the fuel. The motorcycle runs on petrol.
The Ducati Diavel Diesel is a limited edition sports cruiser. Only 666 examples will be manufactured worldwide. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 19.92 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
The limited edition Diavel Diesel comes with hand-brushed stainless steel structure. The sports cruiser also features exposed welding and rivets, which gives the motorcycle a raw look.
The seat cover is made out of pure leather, and a pyramid motif appears with three Ds - Ducati, Diavel and Diesel. Lateral intakes are of red methacrylate with Diesel logo.
The Ducati Diavel Diesel gets the Red colour finish on the Brembo brake callipers and five chain links. The LCD dashboard also gets red backlit light. The exhaust pipes are finished with black Zircotec ceramic coating.
The black silencers on the Diavel Diesel have been machined from solid and get pyramid motif. The limited sports cruiser can be pre-ordered, and the deliveries will commence from August 2017 in India.
Ducati India MD Ravi Avalur stated that the Diesel edition of the Diavel would widen the potential interest of motorcycle for fashion and design athletes. Previously, in 2012, Ducati introduced the Monster Diesel in limited numbers.
