2017 KTM Duke 390 Launched In A New Limited Edition Colour

The much-awaited 2017 KTM 390 Duke was officially launched in India in February 2017. The Austrian bike maker has launched a limited edition white colour scheme and is available at select KTM dealerships across the country.

The 2017 KTM Duke 390 limited edition in the white scheme is priced at Rs 2.25 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The new colour scheme is available for the similar price as the standard model and will be available till stocks last.

The white colour on the new Duke 390 has managed to keep things subtle compared to the bright orange shade. The naked bike is finished in white including the extended fuel tank and the front mudguard.

The gloss black shade is retained for the two-tone effect. Also, the new split Trellis frame continues with the standard colour scheme with the orange powder coat in the first half of the unit, and the remaining half finished in white.

The alloy wheels continue to be finished in orange paint, also, the new colour shade is now UV resistantas with the complete KTM range.

Apart from the new white colour scheme, the new Duke 390 remains the same as the standard model. The 2017 KTM Duke 390 boasts of features such as segment first ride-by-wire, LCD instrument cluster, adjustable levers, among others.

Upgrades on the 2017 390 Duke include the all-LED headlamps, open-cartridge USD front forks as well as a new rear mono shock suspension setup. The assembly of the front brake is also new with a bigger 320mm disc and new sintered brake pads.

The new KTM 390 Duke also gets a larger 13.5-litre fuel tank which is now made of metal.

As for the powertrain, the new Duke 390 utilises the same 373.2cc single cylinder, liquid-cooled unit tuned to churn out 43bhp and 37Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a power assisted slipper clutch.
