2017 KTM Duke 250 Design
The Duke 250 is a totally new product for India, although the motorcycle is made in the country and exported. Like the Duke 390, the 250 also features aggressive design language but misses out LED headlights and other equipment found on the 390.
2017 Duke 250 Engine Specifications, Gearbox, And Features
The 2017 Duke 250 draws power from a 248cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that makes 31bhp and 24Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Performance figures are still good to take on its prime competitors, the Yamaha FZ 25 and the Kawasaki Z250.
Speaking of the features, the KTM Duke 250 comes with disc brakes at both ends, inverted front forks, monoshock at the rear, a digital instrument console, slipper clutch, and MRF Revz C1 tyres. The Duke 250 skips the TFT instrument display and LED headlights that come on the Duke 390, along with ABS and ride-by-wire.
2017 KTM 250 Duke Competition
The KTM 250 Duke will compete with the newly launched Yamaha FZ 25, Benelli TNT25, and the Kawasaki Z250 in India.
