Kawasaki dealerships are offering huge discounts of up to Rs 1 lakh on the Japanese manufacturer's ER-6N naked motorcycle.
According to bikeadvice.in Kawasaki's Mumbai dealership Anzen Kawasaki, which replaced the fiasco that was the SNK Palm Beach dealership is offering a discount of Rs 93,000 on the on-road prices (pre-octroi) of the ER-6n .
And it's not just the Mumbai dealerships that are offering significant discounts on the 649cc naked bike. Drivespark reached out to the Kawasaki dealerships in Bangalore who informed us they too had a discount of Rs 30,000 going on the ER-6n.
The reason for the big price drop on the naked Kawasaki is rather simple as dealers are trying to clear out their stock of BS3 emission norms compliant bikes ahead of the implementation of BS4 norms on April 1, 2017.
Kawasaki has also announced that it will be replacing the ER-6n globally with the new Z650 which could mean that these could be some of the very last examples of the bike still around in India.
