India-Bound Benelli TRK-502 Adventure Tourer Launched In Malaysia
Benelli has launched the India-bound TRK-502 adventure tourer in the Malaysian market. Read now to know more about the latest adventure tourer from the stable of Benelli.
Italian motorcycle manufacturer Benelli has launched its new middleweight adventure tourer, the TRK-502 in Malaysia. The company also launched the 302R faired motorcycle in the Malaysian market.
The Indian market will receive the Benelli 302R in May 2017, whereas the TRK 502 will be launched later in 2017. The new adventure tourer from Benelli is priced at RM 30,621 (approximately Rs 4.5 lakh) in Malaysia.
The Benelli TRK-502 draws power from an all-new 500cc liquid cooled, eight valves, parallel twin engine. The engine produces 47bhp and 45Nm of peak torque.
The adventure tourer motorcycle is equipped with a 20-litre fuel tank. Up front, the motorcycle features upside down fork with 150mm of travel. The rear gets pre-load adjustable mono shock suspension with 45mm of travel.
The Benelli TRK-502 gets a ground clearance of 230mm. Braking is handled by twin 320mm discs up front and single 260mm disc at the rear. ABS is offered as a standard feature which can be switched off.
The kerb weight of the motorcycle stands at 210kg. The Malaysian market gets three variants of the motorcycle. The base variant, 502 SP with panniers and 502 SP2 with panniers and top box. The TRK-502 will hit the Indian market by November 2017 with a price tag of around Rs 6 lakh.
