Honda One Make Race — The Tenth Edition Kicks Off Today
Honda will start the motorsport season with the inaugural round of the one make race today in Coimbatore.
Honda Motorcycles India is all set to kick off the One Make Race today in Coimbatore. This year's event will mark the tenth edition of the race, and the inaugural round will start on the Kari Race Track.
Honda will mark this year's racing season with a total of 80 entries from across India.
For the tenth edition, Honda has introduced three new categories — Super Sport Indian 165 (modified), Pro-Stock 165 (Open), and Stock 165 (Novice). Also, this year the race will see participation from 8 women riders, trained at the Honda Ten10 Racing Academy.
Honda's flagship CBR 250R Team Championship will see intense competition between 20 racers, four teams (Apex Racing, Ten 10 Racing, Pro Lap Racing, and Rock Star Racing), while the CBR 150R category will see participation from 40 riders, who have undergone extensive racing training from Honda Ten10 Racing Academy.
Speaking of the race, Prabhu Nagaraj, the Vice President, Customer Service, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India said, "Honda has been successfully promoting motorsports and continues to expand safe fun biking culture in India.
