Honda Navi Adventure And Chrome Edition To Be Available In India Soon
Honda is gearing up to launch the Navi Adventure and Chrome Editions in India and here is what you can expect.
The beginning of 2017 brings good news to those who have awaited for the Adventure edition of the Honda Navi. The Japanese auto maker has wished India 'Happy Navi Year', hinting at the launch of the Adventure edition of the Navi and a Chrome Edition.
The Honda Navi Adventure gets a tall windscreen up front, along with lever guards (brush guards) that makes the Adventure edition stand out from the regular model.
Also, the Adventure edition gets a unique dual tone exterior finish, making the one of a kind two-wheeler a truly out of the box choice when it comes to buying a commuter.
The Chrome Edition is the other model that is soon expected to hit the Indian market, and what makes the particular variant special, is the exterior paint finish.
Apart from the changes mentioned above, mechanicals remain the same for both, the Navi Adventure and Chrome Edition. The Navi Adventure does look like it is equipped with long travel front suspension, but in truth, carries the same front end as that of the Navi currently sold here.
Powering the Navi is a 110cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 8bhp and 9Nm of torque, the same unit that powers the Activa.
During the 2016 Auto Expo, Honda showcased the Navi for the first time. The Adventure variant was showcased as well, which featured knobby tyres, that could be an optional extra.
Also, the storage box under the fuel tank, and the entire kit, including the tall visor, will soon be available to help current Navi owners kit up their vehicles to make them look like an adventure edition.
