Honda Creates History With Highest Ever Podiums In Round Two Of National Championship
Honda riders put in a brilliant performance to score highest ever podiums in the second round of National Motorcycle Racing Championship.
Honda riders put in a brilliant performance to score highest ever podiums in the second round of MMSC FMSCI National Motorcycle Racing Championship held at Madras Motor Racing Track, Chennai.
Honda riders took five podium places on day two, taking the total tally to eight in the second round. In the Super Sports 165cc class, Rajiv Sethu from Honda Ten 10 Racing emerged victorious in the National Championship.
Sethu's teammate Mathana Kumar S finished second, delivering a 1-2 finish for the Honda Ten 10 Racing team. In the Pro Stock 165cc category, Honda Ten 10 Racing rider Mithun Kumar P K secured the first position in the final race.
Honda is also running a One Make Championship in two class - CBR 250R Open and CBR 150 Novice. In the first race of the CBR 250R Open class, Hari Krishnan took the victory with a dominant performance. B Aravind and Rajiv finished second and third respectively.
The second race victory went to Rajiv Sethu, with a thrilling finish to the race. Anish Shetty and B Aravind finished in the final two podium places. In the CBR 150 Novice class, Satya Narayan grabbed first place in Race 2.
There was a close battle for the second and the third place. Finally, Amala Gerald secured the second position, while Vysakh Sobhan took the third place.
Prabhu Nagaraj, Vice President, Customer Service, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI), said, "I am very happy with the phenomenal performance of our riders. Rajiv has done exceptionally well in the Super Sports category. We are confident of seeing such stellar performance in the next round as well."
