Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Honda is now accepting bookings for its flagship sports motorcycle, the CBR1000RR Fireblade and the CBR1000RR Fireblade SP. The motorcycles are the 25th-anniversary editions.
The Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade and the CBR1000RR Fireblade SP will be sold in India as Completely Built Units (CBUs), and interested customers can book their motorcycles through Honda's exclusive Wing World outlets located in Mumbai and Delhi.
Pricing for the new Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade starts at Rs 17.61 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). Honda claims that the new Fireblade is the lightest, fastest, and the most powerful motorcycle from Honda's stable yet.
The 25th anniversary Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade was initially showcased during at EICMA 2016 in Italy. The flagship performance-oriented motorcycle comes with semi-active Ohlins suspension, ABS, Throttle by Wire (TBW), 9 Level Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), Selectable Engine Brake (SEB), Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD), and Power Selector.
Powering the new 25th anniversary Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade is a 999cc, liquid-cooled, in-line four-cylinder engine producing 189bhp and 114Nm of peak torque. The motor comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a quick shifter.
