Honda Makes A Brilliant Start At Indian National Motorcycle Championship 2017
Honda Racing made a perfect start to the season at 2017 MMSC FMSCI Indian National Motorcycle Championship.
Honda Racing made a dominant start to the National Championship with seven podium finishes at the Kari Motor Speedway at Coimbatore.
With this result, Honda has kick-started the 2017 MMSC FMSCI Indian National Motorcycle Championship with its highest ever podium finishes in a single round.
In the Super Sport 165cc category, the race one victory went to Honda Ten10 Racing rider Rajiv S. His teammate Mathana Kumar S finished the race in the second position. Race 2 also brought good news with Mathana Kumar S. scoring his second consecutive podium.
Honda's domination continued in the Pro-stock 165cc class. Honda riders clinched four out of six podiums in both the races. Mithun Kumar P.K won both the races with fastest lap times.
In the Honda One Make Championship, the CBR 250R open class victory went to ARRC sponsored rider Rajiv S. He won both the race, Amit Richard Topno and B. Aravind finished second and third respectively in the first race. Abhishek V. and Kishore V S finished second and third in the second race.
The CBR 150R Novice Championship saw a packed grid of 40 riders. Rookie rider Satya Narayana from Hyderabad emerged victorious in both the race. Completing the podium in Race 1 were Syed Nawas (2nd) and Vysakh Sobhan (3rd). Race 2 closed with Amala Jerald (2nd) and Aditya Rao (3rd).
Honda All Ladies Race saw eight women riders compete on the race-prepped CBR 150R motorcycles. Rehana Reya clinched an impressive victory in the first round of the championship. Shruti and Kalyani Potekar rounded off the final podium positions.
