Naked Street Bike Hero XF3R To Hit Production; India Launch Soon
The unveiled XF3R at the expo was equipped with single-sided swing arm, digital instrument console and upside down forks.
At the Auto Expo 2016, World's largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp unveiled XF3R along with three other future models. At the show, the model was concept design but now the positive response from auto enthusiast have prompted the manufacturer to put it into production.
The production model will retain the same design as the concept model and the Gurgaon-based manufacturer is readying the XF3R at a fast pace to hit the markets. The model falls under naked street bike category and it will be powered by a 300cc engine.
The unveiled XF3R at the expo was equipped with single-sided swing arm, digital instrument console and upside down forks up front. Braking duties will be handled by a 300mm disc at front and a 220mm disc at the rear.
The production XF3R is expected to feature dual-channel ABS, Dual Map technology (two riding modes) and Pirelli rubbers. It also has a high-mounted exhaust and an exposed sub-frame which is painted in red.
Recently, the manufacturer confirmed that it will launch the Xtreme 200S in the country soon. Powering the model will be a 200cc air-cooled engine that will deliver 18.2bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 17.2Nm of torque at 6,000rpm.
